AT&T and I Honor USA visit the USO ATL

The USO trip was awesome, Just before the Independence Day rush Luci Stofer, Evelyn Walker and I Honor USA went to volunteer last Thursday 6/20/12 and bring goodies for the troops. We had plenty of time to stage over 200 snack bags for outgoing defenders of our nation and the world. In the bag included a beautiful American Flag drawn by Luci’s nephew, David Miller. Snacks included: gum, candies, power bars cards from kids and cards from I Honor Your Service to America.com & AT&T SE Vets. Luci did a wonderful job putting all of the items together! Luci and Evelyn worked in the kitchen and I worked at the greeting stand where the troops come up to the terminal from the gate. Wow to just be there helping out was a three year desire of mine. It was also nice to meet the President and CEO of the Council of Georgia, Inc. USO Mary Louise Austin. She had visited many of the post I was assigned to when I was in the Army. She is a very busy and dedicated leader supporting our troops.
